Stress has so many impacts on the body including acne. Here are some tips on how to manage stress induced acne.
Try to stick to a skin care routine. You'll find that when you take care of your body, including your skin, you'll feel better and refreshed.
Exfoliating wash
When you exfoliate you remove dead skin cells, oil and built up dirt from the skins surface that lead to acne breakouts. This helps to unclog pores, pulling the bacteria out and removing excess oil. Exfoliating treats and prevents all types of acne and reduces irritation and redness.
Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is a dermatologist recommended ingredient for your skin care routine. It increases skin elasticity and promotes skin hydration. Hyaluronic acid retains moisture which leads to plump, hydrated skin. These benefits help to fight the signs of aging by reducing skin wrinkles and lines. Hyaluronic acid levels in the skin decrease with age. It is also used to treat wounds and reduces the appearance of scarring.
A LITTLE SIDE NOTE
Did you guys know that Hyaluronic acid can also be injected into the joints to treat osteoarthritis? YES, you read that correctly! A lot of patients get pain relief with injections that contain hyaluronic acid. That's awesome!
Toner
Toner helps to remove dead skin. I love using a pore reducing toner. It helps to close the pores so less bacteria can enter the epidermis layer of the skin. Including toner in your skincare routine will also boost your skin's hydration.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is amazing you guys! It reduces the appearance of redness and hyperpigmentation. It provides hydration and can also stimulate the skin's production of collagen. Vitamin C refreshes the skin and gives it that glowy complexion.
